COMMUNITY IN ACTION

Party at the Park

A park. Our neighbors. A whole lot of possibility.

I started Party at the Park because bringing people together can open doors. It’s a day to enjoy our neighborhood, connect with people who can help, and make sure families leave with something useful.

MORE THAN A DAY AT THE PARK

Come for the connection. Leave with more.

Party at the Park is a free annual community gathering I organize at Pendora Park with volunteers, local organizations, businesses, and neighbors. Together, we make room for practical help, learning, celebration, and remembering the people we love.

Resources for families

Backpacks, school supplies, free haircuts, and connections with local organizations help families prepare for the school year.

Learning we can use

Civic education, homeownership information, and youth-led technology help bring useful knowledge into an everyday community space.

A place to come together

Activities, entertainment, local vendors, and conversations give neighbors a chance to meet, reconnect, and support one another.

Remembering our neighbors

The gathering also honors residents whose lives have been lost to violence, with space for families, remembrance, and community support.

THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU

This happens because people show up.

Volunteers, community partners, and local businesses all have something to bring. Want to help with a future Party at the Park? Let’s talk.
